Former MLSA staff named to Montana Justice Foundation Board

Congratulations to Gillian Ellison and Alex Clark—former MLSA staff members and current law students at the University of Montana—for being invited to serve on the board of the Montana Justice Foundation (MJF), the largest private funder of legal aid in the state! Recommended by MLSA Executive Director Alison Paul for their dedication to improving access to justice, Gillian’s and Alex’s experience working Montanans unable to access legal services will provide a new perspective to MJF.

“They offer different strategies and viewpoints, ultimately helping us better serve the organizations that help Montanans,” said Alissa Chambers, executive director of MJF.  “Their experience from working within these volunteer organizations helps us understand the needs of [legal aid] groups like MLSA.”

Thank you, Gillian, and Alex, for your unwavering dedication to serving the legal needs of Montanans all over the state.
