Bozeman is hosting its 3rd Annual Veteran Stand Down this Saturday, June 15, 2013.
Veterans can receive haircuts, healthcare, dental work, job counseling, and can meet with state and federal officials who will work to make sure veterans are enrolled in appropriate programs. The Montana Legal Services Association will provide information about its services, how to apply for MLSA services, and where to find other legal help.
The scope of the event includes all veterans, with a focus on homeless veterans.
The stand down runs from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at the Gallatin County fairgrounds, located at 901 N. Black Ave. in Bozeman. Veterans should bring their DD 214 discharge papers, military, or Veterans Affairs ID card.
